What is the Aquabike Adventure?
The Aquabike Adventure is such a unique way for exploring the underwater world! The Aquabike looks like a big underwater bicycle-scooter combo. You can discover the sea life while sitting cosily on a bicycle-type seat and breathing naturally.
The Aquabike is a mini submarine. You do not need to be a diver to participate on the Aquabike adventure! That is also no problem if you can’t swim, because you just need to sit and enjoy the beautiful underwater life of Bora Bora cruising in the crystal clear water, circa 3 m (10 feet) below the water’s surface.
The Aquabike is a two-person underwater vehicle. Your head will be under a wide shared panoramic glass airlock. The Aquabike is equipped with dive tank that provides the fresh air. No mouthpiece is needed for breathing, because the air is flowing continuously into the transparent air bubble allows you to breathe naturally through your nose. Under the dome you can even chat with your partner in the whole time, it is cool, isn’t it? You head stays dry, you are in the water from your shoulders down.
If you spend your holiday on Bora Bora, you need to book the Aquabike adventure tour at your hotel’s reception or via the company’s own site. A boat will transport you to the hydraulic subscooter platform.
You will get a safety and equipment briefing before using the Aquabike, you will learn how to accelerate, steer and stop the bike and how to pop your ears. A professional diver will follow you underwater, supervise you and show you around ! Don’t worry, the Aquabike adventure is absolutely safe, you wil be totally under control while cruising on your own submarine! An underwater cruise lasts circa 30 minutes.
