Snorkeller “Lord of the Ring ” True story

I believe in fairy tales… I believe in good people and in a good world and when I read such a lovely story like our daily post, I feel it is still worth believing. Read how Roxy Walsh found a lost ring and gave it back to the owner with the help of social media.

Roxy Walsh, a Queensland snorkeller was spending a nice time with her family at Finns Beach Club in Bali.

She found an engraved gold ring during snorkeling on the 7th of April 2015.

The message was : “Darling Joe, Happy 70th Birthday 2009, Love Jenny ”

Roxy wanted to find the owner of the ring, so she made some pics, posted on her Facebook, Instagram and asked others also to share it.

There is an enormous power nowadays in the social media ! They also created a group on Facebook “Find Joe and Jenny” where others joined to the action. Somebody sharpened the ring’s photos, somebody made a drawing about the shield on it, so many people participated in this noble case.

It sounds unbelievable, but just in 2 days more than 100.000 people shared her post and she found Joe and Jenny in less than 3 days !!!

So I still believe in fairy tales, do you ? 🙂
